What we are looking for
We are currently looking for a motivated and driven Account Director with 7-10 years of work experience deep knowledge and understanding of the Nordic TMT or industrial manufacturing market in combination with a high business acumen. The Account Director will work with senior level contacts at our clients and with senior stakeholders within our firm making sure we connect the right people at the right time with our clients. We are looking for someone who can help grow KPMGs position in the market and support our journey as insight leaders within the sector.

As a member of Clients & Markets (C&M) you will be part of a team responsible for our growth journey - how we go to market with the client in focus and systematically build business relationships within our business areas. KPMG works with both the private and the public sector. Our Clients & Markets team are today about 20 driven individuals focusing on Sales Excellence Marketing and Communication and Pursuits.

Your Role

As an Account Director you will be part of the Sales Excellence team (within C&M) responsible for driving our sales initiatives in line with our global strategy. You will be part of the core team with one of our most important clients within the sector and will play an important role in leading and coordinating our sales efforts ensuring all involved parties work towards common goals in the process. The right candidate understands the clients business objectives and thrives in an environment where focus is on building relationships and identify opportunities for expansion. As part of your role you will also be involved in delivery within your area of expertise from time to time.

Your role will involve:

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Business Growth: Drive year-on-year growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships. Network with clients and relevant professional bodies and associations to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather analyse and share insights on market developments competitors and client needs.
  • Account Leadership: Enthusiastically lead account teams and oversee commercial aspects to ensure quality and profitability.
