Job Summary

Lets start with the role

The Facilities Manager plays a key role in overseeing building operations coordinating internal maintenance teams and external vendors to ensure repairs cleaning security and utilities run seamlessly. This role involves managing budgets approving work orders and responding to employee or tenant requests. The Facilities Manager is also responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance driving workplace improvements supporting long-term planning and contributing to new office projects to maintain a safe efficient and cost-effective working environment.

As a Facilities Manager you will:
  • Manage refurbishments renovations expansions and office relocations to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee and negotiate contracts and service providers for construction maintenance parking cleaning and furnishing.
  • Coordinate maintenance teams and external vendors to ensure repairs cleaning security and utilities run smoothly.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for facility-related expenses optimizing costs without compromising quality.
  • Allocate and manage office space supporting space planning and expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety security and health protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues coordinating work and assigning tasks.
  • Manage projects risks and opportunities for contract improvements.
  • Ensure services are delivered as defined in the agreed schedule guaranteeing implementation and compliance with best practice procedures.
  • Develop strategies to optimize facility management improve operational efficiency and contribute to the companys overall objectives.

What you will bring

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Electrical Mechanical or related field);
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Facilities management including at least 3 years of people management experience in fast paced environment;
  • Strong understanding of logistics management;
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to optimize the use of space and equipment;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met and operational objectives are achieved efficiently;
  • Proven stakeholder management skills;
  • Strong capability of managing and monitoring facilities budgets will be considered as a plus;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Excel & AutoCAD.
