Quimidroga S.A. is a leading company founded in 1944 in Barcelona specializing in the marketing and distribution of chemical products in the Mediterranean Arc.. The companys commitment to trust transparency and industry expertise has established it as a key player in the chemical sector.
We are looking potentially for two Business Development Managers to join our team in Greece our affiliate QUIMIDROGA HELLAS located in Athens.
The main scope of these new members is the expansion of our presence in the fields of
- Home/Personal Care Industry
- Food Industry
This is a full-time on-site role as a Business Development Manager located in Athens and will be responsible for communication with suppliers and customers sales operations growth and development.
- Create and develop new business in the Greek market by identifying and bringing new opportunities in line with business growth strategies.
- Manage develop and understand the needs of a growing customer base making regular visits to these accounts and building maintaining and managing relationships with key contacts at all levels.
- Maintain develop and manage a relationship network with Principals
- Gather analyse interpret and present market product competitor and industry data to enable development of the forward strategy of the business
- Negotiating prices and volumes with customers in order to maximize returns to the business
- Visit and represent the company at trade fairs exhibitions and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or related subject. Holding MSc Degree will be considered and asset.
- Experience 1-2 years in sales (preferable in the Chemicals Raw Material) in Food Industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Knowledge and networks within country area industry
- Ability to work as a team player and business passionate character
- Strong presentation and executive presence skills
- Strong planning organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Strong oral/written communication skills in English
- Ability to travel
