The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst serves as a critical advisor to Qantas Loyalty providing the strategic insight and technical expertise required to effectively manage risks and unlock opportunities. This role is central to protecting and enhancing customer experiences safeguarding critical assets and strengthening data systems by delivering highquality risk intelligence that informs sound business decisions.

You will take ownership of the implementation of the Loyalty Management System ensuring it aligns with the Qantas Group Management System. As a trusted partner to stakeholders you will move beyond risk identification to help design sophisticated controls and guide the organisation through complex regulatory environments.

You will take a hands-on lead in orchestrating sophisticated risk and control workshops utilising advanced threat modeling and root-cause analysis to uncover blind spot risks within Qantas Loyalty. Beyond mere oversight you will act as a high-credibility partner to executive leadership translating intricate data from domains like Cyber Data Privacy and Fraud into actionable commercial insights. By coaching senior leaders and spearheading divisional awareness programs you will move the risk culture from a reactive state to a proactive mindset where risk management serves as a critical enabler for innovation and customer trust.

Youll have: 

  • Significant experience (10 years) working in Risk within large multinational organisations including exposure to commercial and operational teams.
  • A minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience leading large geographically diverse teams.
  • Advanced Risk Governance capability with a proven ability to govern risk profiles and ensure risk registers act as dynamic strategic tools capturing emerging threats and commercial opportunities.
  • Expertise in cloud-native technology and Agile environments with the ability to identify and analyse risks while working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Specialised Risk Partnership experience across high-complexity domains including Cyber Technology Data Privacy Fraud and Contractual risk.
  • Strong capability in regulatory excellence acting as the custodian of the Loyalty Risk Framework and evolving policies to exceed industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated strength in high-impact risk facilitation applying advanced root-cause analysis and threat modeling to identify blind spot risks
  • Strategic Insight Management maintaining a gold-standard repository of risk documentation to alert leadership to systemic issues and emerging trends.
  • The ability to drive cultural change serving as a catalyst for deep-seated risk awareness and compliance excellence through mentorship and influential communication.
  • Tertiary Qualifications including a minimum Bachelors Degree with an expectation of postgraduate study or broader business administration qualifications.
