Key Responsibilities:
Precision Operations: Operate a container delivery truck and hydraulic systems to safely deliver position and remove solid waste containers.
Safety Ownership: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections (Safe For Life) and maintain accurate route sheets.
Vehicle Care: Maintain your truck like its your ownkeeping the cab clean and reporting mechanical issues immediately.
Customer Excellence: Represent GFL with a professional demeanor ensuring containers are placed safely at customer sites.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
Licensing: Must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
Experience: At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
Physical Stamina: Ability to repetitively lift or move objects up to 50 lbs and occasionally move up to 300 lbs using proper equipment.
Vision: Strong depth perception for maneuvering in tight or high-traffic areas.
