• Student who are working towards BS in Civil Engineering from anABET accredited College or University

What Youll Do

As a Civil Engineering Intern you will support the design and analysis of bridge structures and transportation infrastructure under the supervision of experienced engineers. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in the review and verification of standard structural design calculations.
• Supporting the structural analysis and design of bridge components using engineering software tools.
• Helping develop preliminary design details using CAD software and providing input to CAD technicians for contract plan development.
• Contributing to design reports by compiling relevant technical information.
• Communicating effectively in English both verbally and in writing in a professional engineering environment.
• Reviewing and checking engineering drawings under the close supervision of a Senior Engineer.
• Gain exposure of structural analysis and design software such as LUSAS RISA-3D LEAP Bridge AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Learning and applying relevant design specifications and standards including AASHTO AREMA AISC and ACI.
