Job Summary

Role: Senior Hydraulics Design Engineer
Location: Longview TX

Key Responsibilities

Execute engineering activities across concept development detailed design validation and production release phases of New Electric Wheel loader.

Provide strong engineering ownership in NPD projects supporting sound technical decision-making and design integrity.

Conduct comprehensive model reviews drawing (print) reviews and support design release processes to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.

Perform engineering calculations tolerance stack-ups and technical reviews (3D models GD&T drawings).

Ensure compliance with internal standards ISO/SAE requirements and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Support DFMEA risk assessments and engineering documentation required for development gates.

Develop and execute validation plans test procedures and functional testing activities.

Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Assembly (DFA) and Serviceability improvements.

Collaborate with suppliers on technical reviews material selection manufacturability and cost optimization.

Collaborate with other engineering functions relating to NPD activities.

Support prototype builds pilot runs and production launch readiness.

Maintain engineering documentation change management records and release approvals.

Work independently across multiple NPD projects while supporting a safe and zero-harm work culture.

Competencies & Skills:

7-10 years of industry experience related to the key responsibilities

Strong engineering judgment and analytical problem-solving capability.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced NPD environment.

Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency; anticipates risks and drives timely effective solutions.

Demonstrates accountability and ownership to deliver commitments within aggressive development timelines.

Collaborative approach with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align on timely decisions.
