Working Student – Pricing & Assortment Management (mfd)

In a nutshell

At Picnic were redefining grocery shopping with our innovative and sustainable app-only model. As a Working Student part of the Pricing Team youll analyze data monitor market trends and help us deliver the best value for money - from bundle offers to pricing strategies. Youll also work closely with our Category Teams and contribute to exciting projects across the business.

What challenges await you

• Product & Pricing Management: Monitor and analyze price developments across the assortment ensure accurate pricing information and support the implementation and evaluation of pricing changes and promotions.
  
  
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Track market developments customer needs and competitor activity to inform pricing and assortment decisions that maximize customer value.
  
  
• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze customer shopping behavior and product performance to improve assortment selection app interaction pricing and promotions.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Projects: As a working student collaborate with Category Managers Tech Teams Copywriters and Supply Chain to sustainably improve product availability reduce food waste and create a seamless shopping experience.
  
  

Your superpowers

• Ideally in the final stages of your Bachelors or already pursuing a Masters degree in Business Economics E-Commerce Analytics Retail Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset- you enjoy working with data and translating insights into business recommendations
• Eye for detail to make sure no wrong price slips into the app
• Comfortable with Google Sheets / Excel and dashboards ideally first experience with Python or similar
• Interest in retail FMCG digital grocery pricing or commercial strategy
• Organizational skills and a proactive mindset - able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
• You enjoy bouncing ideas around asking questions and bringing energy to the team
• Fluent in English (German is a strong plus).
• Availability to work 1620 hours per week.
