We are partnering with a mission-critical financial infrastructure organization that serves as the backbone of the national payments ecosystem. Backed by major regulatory stakeholders this institution is currently undergoing a massive technological metamorphosis. They are shifting from robust legacy mainframe systems to a modern cloud-native (AWS) and agile environment to enable Real-Time Payments on a national scale.

Year One Performance Objectives:

Define the Test Strategy (First 90 Days): Audit the current landscape and deliver a comprehensive Test Strategy that supports the migration from Mainframe to AWS aligned with the Faster Payments agenda.
Operationalize Automation & CI/CD: Implement automated testing blueprints that reduce regression cycles and increase deployment frequency without compromising stability.
Drive Team Capability: Upskill the testing function on modern Agile/DevOps methodologies and ensure the team can do more with less through automation and AI integration.
Own Governance & Budget: Manage tool licensing ROI and navigate strict Design Authority and regulatory compliance (PASA/SARB).
Deliver Under Pressure: Act as the critical gatekeeper for project delivery managing capacity and senior stakeholder expectations across BAU and New Development streams.
