Nuclear Medicine Technologist Radiology/Cardiology - Travel Position (with $7500 Completion Bonus)

Pay:$ 3240/week(plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Position Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to evaluate organ function and structure primarily for cardiac and radiology-related studies. This role requires technical expertise attention to safety protocols and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for cardiac and other organ studies.
- Perform stress tests and cardiac imaging under physician supervision.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
- Educate patients about procedures safety precautions and post-test instructions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver results.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- License/Certification:
- Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N)
- State licensure as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of nuclear medicine experience; cardiac imaging experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
