Job Summary
Job Summary:The Production Supervisorwill oversee daily manufacturing managing staff workflow quality and safety to meet production goals efficiently handling scheduling troubleshooting training reporting and ensuring compliance with standards for a specific line or act as a key link between management and workers driving performance and continuous improvement on the production Functions of the Job: Key Responsibilities:Staff Management:Supervise coach train and develop production teamsStaffing scheduling timekeeping and performance reviewsProduction Oversight:Organize workflow assign tasks monitor progress and ensure production goals and schedules are metQuality & Efficiency:Maintain quality standards identify bottlenecks suggest improvements and implement cost-saving measuresSafety & Compliance:Enforce safety procedures maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to regulationsProblem-Solving:Resolve issues on the production floor coordinate repairs and liaise with other departmentsReporting: Prepare summaries and reports on shift performance output and progressSupervisory Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of all hourly operations Qualifications:Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing settingStrong leadership communication problem-solving and organizational skillsKnowledge of production planning equipment and relevant safety standardsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field (Business Engineering)Featured benefitsMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid Family leavePaid maternity leave401(k) with MatchVoluntary Life Accident Critical Illness and Hospital indemnityPaid HolidaysTuition assistanceShort-term and Long-term Disability insuranceAdditional Considerations:This position will be at the SunOpta Plant in Omak Plant is a 24/7 operation with 3 will rotate to include both 2nd and 3rd shift as or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
