Principal Accountabilities
- Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation enter information into computerized systems support others in resolving issues through use of knowledge of processes and procedures
- Conduct cycle counts and may support reporting or reconciliation
- Stabilize trucks with chocks and may oversee the loading and unloading vehicles
- Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement spanning the full range of facility operations with authority to make moderate changes as defined by management
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins and outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50 lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting safely with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc.. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- High School diploma or equivalent job experience
- Basic use of a computer
- Experience with SAP program
- Ability to work overtime weekends and holidays with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift
- Experience in shipping related work.
