Description

Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established highly respected provider of PK-12 grade fiction and non-fiction books located in the South Metro. Our Shipping department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.

Responsibilities

Assemble containers and crates use proper packing methods to pack goods to be shipped and attach packing slips
Prepare shipping documents using various computer software
Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery

Requirements

Ability to organize and pack materials along with checking documents for accuracy
Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
Ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
Ability to cross train in other areas/departments as needed
Previous FedEx and UPS experience a plus

Shifts & Scheduling (Seasonal)

Regular Schedule Options: 3-4 days per week Monday-Friday 6 hours per day shifts start at 8:00 AM 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM
Additional Availability Required: Must have open availability Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM; weekly schedule will fluctuate up to 40 hours depending on business needs.

Wages

$17.00 per hour
