NMLS Licensed Loan Officer Assistant
This position requires the applicant to have an active NMLS license or be in the process of attaining an NMLS license within 60 days of employment. This is also an in-person position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The licensed Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day full cycle of reviewing loan applications and completing administrative task in support of the Team. This includes checking important loan details and requirements before submitting all documentation to the lender cost estimates for borrowers provide necessary information to the relevant parties and redirect questions to the appropriate departments. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure the loan records are accurate and up to date and closed on or before the due date.

This job is performed in an office setting and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer/terminal monitor) occasional walking standing bending and reaching. Due to computer usage there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers terminals and copiers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting or remote office location during unforeseen circumstances such as pandemic or natural disaster. Activities include extended periods of sitting occasional fast paced events and extensive work at a computer monitor.
He/she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the jobsite.
