Job Summary

    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in Campus Recreation.

    • Days/Hours
    • Applicants must be available to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
      Travel to outdoor locations - field trips

    • Start Date
    • Position(s) available on or after March 2 2026and ending on or before May 31 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with the growing outdoor adventures program through the development marketing and implementation of new ideas/concepts.
      • Assist with accurate inventory of supplies and rental equipment.
      • Perform equipment rental checkout and return services in accordance with program procedures.
      • Collaborate with campus departments to support special events and outdoor programs.
      • Assist with the facilitation of workshops and presentations related to outdoor activities and trips.
      • Scan track file and maintain member liability waivers for students faculty/staff and alumni.
      • Assist with maintaining updated website and social media platforms. o Assist with 25 Live.
      • Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials.
      • Assist in creating and editing fillable forms in-house and online.
      • Assist Campus Rec staff with day-to-day operations.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Previous outdoor experience (camping hiking climbing etc.)
      • Customer service or leadership experience
      • Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g. First Aid/CPR Wilderness First Aid)

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $18.00per hour.
