Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Staff Project Manager R&D PMO - to join our MedTech Team located in Raynham MA.

The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position it is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes programs policies and benefit that case details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Purpose: The Staff Project Manager will execute projects using appropriate project management methodology while providing leadership and guidance to project team members. The Staff Project Manager identifies critical path elements within the product development process and recommends corrective actions to be implemented into project plans.

You will:

  • Provides personal expertise as well as project leadership.
  • Understands and follows the New Product Development process accurately and maintains high quality.
  • Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
  • Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project schedule.
  • Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation as required.
  • Analyzes and reports project status and researches information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services deliverables and content.
  • Identifies and eliminates roadblocks during project execution in alignment with business goals.
  • Interacts with senior leadership and key stakeholders both internal and external to the Platform to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects.
  • Leads workstreams to drive improvements to business processes and project management methodologies reducing time to market and elevating execution excellence in project management.
  • Manages multiple impactful projects with high scope complexity within the Platform.
  • Knows and follows all laws and policies that apply to ones job and maintains the highest levels of professionalism ethics and compliance.
  • Actively supports compliance program-related initiatives and activities.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Natural Sciences Engineering or Business. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent preferred
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred

Required:

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management or product management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device industry experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading at least three projects from concept through market introduction
  • Demonstrated exceptional ability for problem-solving.
