Job Summary
Are you passionate about delivering operational excellence in a dynamic multinational insurance environment Chubb is seeking an Underwriter Operations Technician Outwards to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting complex multinational this position you will manage a diverse portfolio collaborate with brokers and network partners and ensure seamless program maintenance and premium booking. Key Responsibilities:
Communicate and build relationships with Underwriters overseas offices and other Chubb staff functioning as a trusted advisor and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Manage workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements showcasing time management and multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Work within the framework of Chubb ethical and compliance standards ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
Ensure multinational workbooks are prepared maintained and completed in accordance with the Global Services Department standards demonstrating attention to detail and operational excellence.
Assist with ongoing projects identified throughout the year for improvements to the Global Services Department contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform incidental work that may be required outside the scope of day-to-day work requirements adapting to changing environments and priorities.
Qualifications
Professional language skills in English with an additional European language (Dutch/German/French/Italian/Swedish/Danish) being a must.
Previous experience in an underwriting support role is a plus.
Insurance background is preferred.
Competent in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric attitude.
Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver and improve quality.
Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
