Position: Learner Hospitality and Catering
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learner Hospitality and Catering to join our team on a full-time permanent this role you will work closely with our experienced trainers and industry professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in the hospitality and catering field. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work towards achieving industry-recognized qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend training sessions and actively participate in practical and theoretical learning activities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Learn and apply basic cooking techniques and methods
- Develop skills in menu planning and food presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the hospitality and catering industry is an asset
- Strong interest in and passion for food and beverage service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
