Job Summary
Position: Airport Ground Staff Company: Bluespirit Location: Shillong Meghalaya India Contract Details: Full-time Bluespirit a leading airport-based company in Shillong Meghalaya India is seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Airport Ground Staff. As a member of our ground staff you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airport. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers with check-in baggage drop and boarding procedures - Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive airport experience for all passengers - Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Monitor flight schedules and assist with flight announcements and updates - Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure the timely and safe arrival and departure of flights - Perform security checks and ensure compliance with airport regulations - Assist with the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the airport terminal and surrounding areas - Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of passengers and staff - Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the airport Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - Knowledge of basic computer skills - Previous experience in a customer service or airport-related role is preferred but not required We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for career growth and development within our company.
