Senior Case Manager

Job Description:

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Case Manager to lead the management of complex Workers Compensation claims and drive high-quality sustainable return-to-work this role you will take ownership of a portfolio of claims provide strategic direction on injury management and work in partnership with injured workers employers insurers and medical providers to deliver best-practice and compliant RTW solutions.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about recovery and return to work stakeholder engagement and mentoring others while making a genuine impact on peoples working lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex Workers Compensation claims from end to end

• Develop implement and review tailored return-to-work and injury management strategies

• Provide expert advice on liability entitlements and RTW outcomes in line with legislation and guidelines

• Liaise with key stakeholders at times in person to drive positive return to work outcomes

• Identify risks address barriers to recovery and implement proactive resolution strategies

• Coordinate suitable duties and workplace modifications

• Maintain accurate high-quality case management documentation

• Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Promote early intervention and recovery-at-work best practices
  

About You

• Demonstrated experience in Workers Compensation Case Management at a senior level

• Strong working knowledge of relevant Workers Compensation legislation and frameworks

• Proven ability to manage complex claims and competing priorities

• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capability

• Ability to provide coaching guidance and technical support to others

• Allied health or injury management background (e.g. rehab physio OT) highly regarded but not essential
