GDS Consulting D&A Senior Data Scientist
Role Description:
The Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer delivers machine learning and AI solutions across a mixed project portfolio including classical machine learning systems generative AI applications and agent-based AI solutions. The role spans solution design development deployment and ongoing improvement with a strong focus on building reliable production-ready AI systems.
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer is responsible for designing and developing machine learning models and AI applications including generative AI and agent-based solutions.
They work with data and AI platforms to build integrate and refine models and AI components ensuring solutions are scalable maintainable and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities include implementing appropriate ML GenAI or agentic approaches depending on the problem as well as improving and extending existing AI systems.
They contribute to the delivery of AI solutions by applying MLOps / LLMOps practices such as deployment versioning monitoring and continuous improvement.
Their goal is to deliver practical high-quality AI solutions that create measurable business value.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as a Data Scientist AI Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer working on production AI solutions
Strong programming skills in Python and experience building AI or ML-based applications
Hands-on experience with machine learning and exposure to generative AI and agent-based AI solutions
Experience supporting AI solutions through deployment and operational workflows (MLOps / LLMOps)
Understanding of data structures data modeling and software engineering principles
Familiarity with common machine learning and AI frameworks and libraries
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
