Role Summary and Impact
We are seeking a highly driven and experiencedPrincipal Consultant Advanced Analytics Sales & Consulting(PC) to proactively build and manage our advanced analytics pipeline sell transformative projects into our clients and act as a senior advisor for data-driven strategic initiatives. The PC will be instrumental in identifying client needs designing innovative analytical solutions and leading the commercial process from opportunity identification to project closure ultimately driving significant business value for our clients through advanced analytics and AI.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify qualify and cultivate new advanced analytics opportunities across existing client accounts and new target logos contributing to a robust sales pipeline.
- Lead the entire sales lifecycle for advanced analytics engagements encompassing initial discovery needs assessment solution ideation proposal development client presentations and successful contract negotiation and closure.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets for advanced analytics and AI solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior business stakeholders deeply understanding their strategic objectives and translating complex business challenges into actionable advanced analytics use cases.
- Design high-level advanced analytics solutions outlining methodologies (e.g. ML AI predictive modelling NLP) data requirements technology stacks and anticipated business outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with internal data science data engineering and technical delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility accurate effort estimation and seamless project handoff.
- Develop and present compelling proposals statements of work (SOWs) and commercial agreements that clearly articulate value scope and deliverables for advanced analytics projects.
- Generate leads for all advanced analytics services and actively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for broader data and technology transformation initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key client decision-makers fostering long-term partnerships and driving the adoption of our advanced analytics offerings.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends technologies and best practices in AI Machine Learning Generative AI and data science and contribute to the development of our service offerings and thought leadership.
- Contribute to the formulation of effective sales strategies and tactics for advanced analytics focusing on key client segments value propositions and competitive differentiation.
- Manage strategic partnerships professionally to develop joint go-to-market strategies and deliver innovative advanced analytics solutions to mutual clients.
- Ensure advanced analytics projects are scoped contracted and executed profitably and in line with company guidelines preparing submitting and closing SOWs and contracts with due care and attention.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience (10 years) in advanced analytics data science or AI roles with a minimum of 5-7 years in a client-facing consulting sales engineering or business development capacity.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas for complex advanced analytics or AI solutions (e.g. $1M annual quota).
- Deep hands-on and/or conceptual understanding of advanced analytics methodologies including machine learning (supervised unsupervised) deep learning natural language processing (NLP) predictive modelling and statistical analysis.
- Experience with major cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and their respective services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in leading engagements with C-level executives and senior client stakeholders translating technical concepts into business value.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proven ability to develop and nurture strategic client partnerships.
- Strong project management acumen with a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and ensuring commercial project milestones are met.
- Exceptional aptitude for numerical detail and analysis with the ability to interpret complex data define analytical approaches and translate findings into compelling business cases.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex technical and business information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities and respond to rapidly changing market dynamics and client priorities.
