Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Afternoon Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners.
Responsibilities As a Floater Teacher/ Assiant Teacher youll:
Support Lead Teachers in implementing The Learning Experiences proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
Help create a safe nurturing and inspiring classroom environment.
Foster childrens social emotional and cognitive development through play-based learning.
Communicate positively with families and co-teachers.
Maintain classroom organization cleanliness and safety standards.
Step into various age groups (Infants Toddlers Preschool) as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility teamwork and enthusiasm every day!
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
6 months of experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements.
Passion for helping children learn and grow in a positive environment.
