We are looking for a Senior Associate in the Credit/Analysis Team responsible for evaluating structuring and coordinating financing projects in the Spanish market ensuring high-quality credit assessments and smooth project approval from initial application to the Credit Committee decision.
Job Description
- Analyse initial project and client information and prepare materials for credit risk assessment
and project financing approval in cooperation with Credit Risk Sales and other internal
teams - Assess clients creditworthiness financial statements database information and historical
data - Prepare comprehensive financial and business analyses for loan proposals including project
feasibility profitability business model sustainability and competitive environment in Spain - Coordinate and lead the internal approval process from receipt of the borrowers financing
application and documentation to the Credit Committees final decision - Prepare and present materials for Credit Committee meetings
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and established risk tolerance levels
- Cooperate with the Legal Department to ensure proper structuring of financing transactions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit assessment methodologies and internal
business processes - Participate in joint calls or meetings with borrowers together with the Sales Team when
clarification of financial or project-related matters is required - Coordinate and participate in notary signings together with Legal Department
- Support Sales Teams actions by going to real estate events in Spain
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or Real Estate Development (Masters degree is an advantage)
- Previous experience in banking finance credit analysis project financing and/or asset
valuation preferably related to real estate projects - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and business models
- Good understanding of credit risk assessment and project financing principles
- Technological proficiency with MS Office suite especially MS Excel
- Fluency in English (minimum B2) and Spanish (native or full professional proficiency)
