  • Culture expansion cryopreservation and routine maintenance of tumor cell lines and primary samples.
  • Isolation processing and in vitro culture of primary cells from human tissues or bloodderived samples.
  • Execution optimization and troubleshooting of in vitro and ex vivo functional assays that support translational hypotheses and biomarker evaluation.
  • Performance of proteinlevel assays including flow cytometry western blot ELISA and MesoScale (MSD) to characterize pathway modulation and pharmacodynamic responses.
  • RNA/DNA extraction quantification quality control and preparation for downstream molecular analyses.
  • Analysis and interpretation of experimental data ensuring scientific rigor and contributing insights to ongoing translational studies.
  • Clear communication of results experimental observations and data interpretations to the project team both verbally and through structured data summaries.
  • Contribution to assay development validation and implementation of new experimental approaches in collaboration with senior scientists.
  • Accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks and internal databases ensuring data integrity and traceability.
  • Maintenance of laboratory inventory coordination with vendors and ordering of supplies.
  • Support of general laboratory operations and upkeep of shared scientific equipment.
  • Active engagement in team discussions contributing experimental perspectives to guide translational strategy and early drug development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Biology (Grado en Biología) obtained in 2019 or later.
  • Masters Degree in Biotechnology or related field valued positively.
  • Demonstrated handson experience in mammalian cell culture including primary cell isolation and primary cell culture (required).
  • Practical experience with flow cytometry western blot ELISA and MesoScale assays (required).
  • Experience with standard molecular and cellular biology techniques.
  • Proven aptitude to learn new methods follow protocols and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory data systems.
  • Ability to clearly communicate protocols results and issues in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work in multidisciplinary research groups.
  • Demonstrates flexibility adaptability and initiative in a fastpaced research environment.

On-site Protocol
