SUMMARY
This position will provide external recruitment for the assign area; manage and coordinate business partner relationships information sessions solicitation of students / scholars networking events clinics and business advising. Liaisons with Project Directors to organize and connect all external activities with internal support (networking events clinics guest speakers etc.) activities for campuses and scholars. Monitors progress of external events prepares reports and evaluations of activities. Facilitate communication between all business partners and local campus personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in recruiting to fulfill the enrollment/admission goals and objectives for assign area.
Develops and manages business partner relationships with local leagues associations etc. who will contribute to the education programs delivered as assign.
Solicit scholars guest speakers technical assistance and subject matter expertise to support campus education program and events.
Liaisons with Project Directors to ensure education program and events are supported by local business community.
Solicits and schedules support for local campus programs.
Monitors progress of all community partners prepares reports and evaluations of activities.
Facilitate communication between all other business partners and local campus personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education experience knowledge skills and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in business entrepreneurship media or related field is required.
Must possess a valid drivers license as local travel is generally required.
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years work experience in business and or media management.
Experience in working with community / business partners and developing collaborative relationships.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to professionally and effectively deliver presentations to small and large groups
Possess a high level of interpersonal communication skills to accurately convey information and increase positive awareness of HCCS
Proven ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
Possess a thorough knowledge of business entrepreneurship and industry as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelors degree in business or a related field.
Working knowledge in community outreach and development of business partnerships
Computer proficiency in Word Processing Spreadsheets and Internet technologies required
Effective organizational and project management skills
Ability to work effectively with faculty staff administration and community members
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business partnership programs
Ability to develop and make presentations
