Job Summary

Team Leader / Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker

Location: Keighley BD22 7
Service: Childrens Home (2-bed)
Service Users: Young people aged 612 (EBD trauma neglect CSE)
Staffing ratio: 2:1
Contract: Permanent full-time (average 37 hours per week)

Essential requirements

You must have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within an Ofsted-registered childrens home

  • Completed or Enrolled on Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent Level 3 in Health and Social is not equivalent)

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car

  • Candidates on a Visa or who require sponsorship please do not apply.

Salary and sleep-ins

Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker (Full Time)
Salary (includes 8 sleep-ins per month): per annum

Residential Child Care Worker (Full Time)
Salary: per annum
Sleep-ins: 12 per week (8 per month adds approximately 4000 per year)

Pay per sleep-in: 50
Welcome bonus: 500 (where applicable)

You only hold Level 3 Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
Your experience is only within healthcare (NHS/CQC) or early years/nursery settings
You require sponsorship (sponsorship is not available)
You have not worked in an Ofsted-registered childrens residential home
