Job Summary
HULK is seeking motivated and detail-oriented engineering student to join our engineering team. This paid internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world engineering environment. Interns will work under the supervision of experienced engineers assisting with various aspects of product testing design and development. This is a great opportunity for students interested in mechanical engineering CAD modeling and field applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and building test fixtures for gas flow and flow testing
- Develop test layouts schematics and fixture designs
- Support the engineering team with product testing and development
- Utilize SolidWorks CAD software for modeling and designing projects
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support engineering decisions
- Gain hands-on experience with mechanical design and testing in a real-world setting
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related program
- Co-operative candidates must be sophomore year or higher
- Intern candidates must be junior year or higher
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Required Coursework in:
- Statics / Engineering Mechanics
- Basic CAD experience (SolidWorks is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Co-Op students (3 semesters/1-year commitment) are preferred but all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
- Previous internship or Co-Op experience
- Additional coursework in Fluid Mechanics or Mechanical Design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
