This Server Assistant role or someone who is motivated detail-oriented thrives in a team environment enjoys interacting with guests and is eager to contribute to the smooth operations of an upscale dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Guest Support: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Table Bussing and Resetting: Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Silverware and Glassware: Polish and roll silverware and polish glassware to maintain the highest standards of presentation
- Food Delivery: Assist servers by traying up and delivering food to guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Reservation Management: Use the OpenTable app to assist with seating guests and managing reservations when needed.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and service areas.
- Professional Appearance: Uphold a polished and professional appearance at all times adhering to the restaurants grooming standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers hosts dish and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be 19 years or older.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights weekends and holidays as these are peak times for the restaurant.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the restaurant.
- Licensing: Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Non-Gaming License (casino requirement).
- Technology Proficiency: Must be comfortable using the OpenTable app for assisting with reservations and seating arrangements.
- Customer Service Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent service under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand walk lift and carry items (such as trays and buss tubs) throughout shifts.
