Job Summary

About The Role

As a Credit Analyst you will reviewbusiness financial information and Credit Reference Agency data to recommend appropriate dealer stock funding facilities. You will play a key part in monitoring and managing the funding portfolio identifying potential risks and taking proactive steps to mitigate them. Ensuring compliance with internal process

procedures and reporting standards is essential as is responding to alerts from credit agencies to manage risk in line with our credit policy.

What Youll Be Doing

Conducting credit analysis for new stocking limit applications renewals and amendments by interpreting business financial information and credit reference agency data. This includes report writing to summarise your findings and recommendations.

Maintain accurate up-to-date records in internal systems to support cross-functional teams.

Conduct anti money laundering and portfolio checks to ensure dealers meet eligibility criteria and NextGear Capital remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with teams across NextGear Capital and Cox Automotive to support seamless completion of credit analysis tasks.

Building developing and managing strong funding relationships with business owners and Directors of new and existing clients.

What Were Looking For

Previousexperience in credit or underwriting for commercial credit facilities ispreferred but not essential.

Strong financial analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements (P&L & Balance Sheet analysis is essential).

Familiarity with Credit Reference Agency reports is advantageous.

Automotive industry knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

Proficiency in MS Office particularlyWord & Excel.

Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong credit analysis focus.

Excellent decision-making prioritization and time management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.

Confident problem-solver and team player with a calm approach under pressure.

Solid IT numerical and data interpretation skills
