About Position
- Perform Basic Design Detail Design Calculations & Specification for Generator Electrical auxiliaries systems
- Checking of final manufacturing drawings and BoM coming from Design Engineers or Suppliers
Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
- To understand the specification of the project product customer requirement Generator operating parameters and operating sequences of Hydro power plant
- Design / Specification of Generator Instrumentation - for measuring temperature pressure flow Cabling and Terminal boxes Grounding system Condition monitoring equipment like Partial discharge Air gap monitoring Vibration Shaft current and Fire protection systems
- Understand and Prepare P& IDs Technical Specifications and Drawings specifying design requirements
- Manage and execute work packages with Detail Design Engineers or Contract Engineers.
- Working with suppliers for defining improving or cost out during design phase
- Support to Supply chain during execution phase
Accountabilities
Execute with required Quality within budget and lead times specified
Measurement
On time delivery Quality Cost (components engg hours)
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: B. E. (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation)
- At least 3 years in design of Hydro Generator auxiliary systems. Total experience desired > 5 years
- Experienced in understanding engineering requirements of Hydro Generator
- Applied knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical Engg and Standards
- Experienced in preparing design specifications for components mentioned in responsibilities
- Experienced in Design & Engineering Processes
- Good level in MS Office Application
- User Level SAP System PLM (CORELLA)
- Experienced in CAD tools preferably AUTOCAD EPLAN and UG NX
