Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Learning/Curriculum Director to join our school community. This role is designed to equip and empower teachers through coaching professional development and support rooted in a Biblical foundation. The ideal candidate will lead curriculum development instructional best practices and foster a positive coaching culture that promotes continuous improvement and professional Responsibilities:Curriculum and Instruction: Lead K-12 curriculum committee meetings and oversee curriculum review processes. Research and develop Biblical teaching philosophies aligned with Teaching for Transformation practices and the schools mission vision and Core Values. Research order and implement new curriculum materials for the upcoming school year. Plan curriculum mapping opportunities to ensure standards alignment. Observe classrooms provide feedback and assist with instructional strategies. Collaborate with our local Government Schools and attend curriculum meetings. Create and manage the curriculum and Development: Design and manage a coaching program to support school improvement initiatives. Foster a collaborative and supportive coaching culture for professional growth. Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with instructional coaches and new teachers. Lead onboarding and training for new teachers emphasizing the schools mission vision and core values. Plan and support classroom observations providing targeted feedback. Monitor mentor/mentee relationships and continuously improve coaching Learning: Develop and deliver professional development programs aligned with the schools mission vision and School Improvement Plan (SIP). Coordinate logistics for professional development and ensure alignment with school goals. Design and manage Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings for elementary staff. Create and manage the professional development and Communication: Build trust-based relationships with staff and stakeholders. Communicate effectively and transparently while celebrating staff : Masters Degree in Education Current valid teachers license. Experience in coaching and mentoring teachers. Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional best practices. Commitment to a Biblical foundation in education. Excellent communication collaboration and organizational : Create a positive coaching culture that fosters growth and collaboration. Equip teachers to be highly effective educators. Ensure curriculum and instruction align with the schools mission and Biblical foundation.
