Column Technical Services is seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition Coordinator ideally with campus recruitment or law firm experienceto join a prestigious global law firm in Washington D.C. In this role youll help drive key initiatives across Talent Acquisition and Attorney Development contributing a smooth and impactful attorney lifecycle experience. This role is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home so applicants must live in the Washington DC area and be able to commute to the office.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage interview logistics coordinate followup communication and provide support for hiring committee preparation.
- Contribute to candidate outreach and engagement efforts.
- Oversee components of the firms recruiting initiatives including campus hiring and summer associate programs.
- Facilitate summer associate assignments training activities and social programming.
- Assist with planning and scheduling for new hire orientation.
- Track and maintain local recruiting budget activity.
Talent Development
- Organize local associate relations events and internal attorney training sessions.
- Collaborate with global Talent Development colleagues to roll out firmwide initiatives such as coaching programs and training academies.
- Monitor budgets related to Associate Relations and Professional Development.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in special events which may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
- Travel as needed to support programs and firm initiatives.
- Provide assistance with additional related projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Proficiencies
- Strong command of English grammar spelling and punctuation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating training programs and events.
- Foundational understanding of campus recruiting or legal recruiting processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree required.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional service or legal environment.
* At least 2 years of experience in human resources law school career services attorney recruiting and/or attorney development (preferred).
