We are currently seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our Anderson this role you will play a vital part in ensuring a welcoming respectful and well-coordinated experience for all clients accessing services at our Anderson location supporting Prevention Services Medical Services and Client Services. Here is some of what you can expect in this role: - You will play a vital role in delivering compassionate respectful medical care by supporting our providers and ensuring each patient feels welcomed supported and treated with dignity.
- You will guide patients through their care experiencefrom check-in through follow-uphelping create a seamless reassuring and well-coordinated visit.
- You will help maintain a safe clean and well-stocked clinical environment taking pride in a space that reflects our commitment to quality care and patient well-being.
- You will accurately document patient encounters and follow-up needs in our electronic medical record system (currently Epic) ensuring continuity of care and clear communication across the care team.
- You will uphold AID Upstates policies and procedures while adhering to all applicable federal state and local healthcare regulations and best practices.
- You will honor the trust placed in you by maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance both during and after your employment with AID Upstate.

What you will need: - A high school diploma or equivalent; prior front desk administrative or medical office experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook) and comfort using office equipment such as phones copiers and scanners.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations during and after employment.
- Spanish or other language proficiency is highly desired.
- A valid South Carolina drivers license.
