Event Coordinator

As our Event Coordinator you will assist the team with all aspects of event management and delivery including delegate registration ticketing and invoicing sponsor/exhibitor management and database management. This role will be based in Auckland.

About the Role

In this opportunity as an Event Coordinator you will:

  • Overseeevent registration platforms and ticketing processes ensuring accurate delegate communications and a seamless attendee experience.

  • Manage sponsor relationships including partner agreements invoicing and coordination of on-site deliverables.

  • Provide on-site event supportas required assisting with setup registration operations and day-of execution.

  • Collect and consolidate post-event feedback preparing clear summaries and recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintain and updatecustomer and attendee databases ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

  • Monitor and report on competitor activity identifying trends positioning and opportunities to strengthen event performance.

About You

Youre a fit for the role of Event Coordinator if you have the following required qualifications:

  • 12 years hands-on experiencein event planning event coordination hospitality or a related customer-facing role.

  • Demonstrated project and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service mindset and proven stakeholder management capability.

  • Proficiency with event technology including registration/ticketing platforms CRM systems project management tools and Microsoft Office (intermediate level).

  • Working knowledge of event operations including AV fundamentals interpreting floor plans and coordinating on-site logistics.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degreein Event Management Hospitality Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).

  • Demonstrated experienceplanning and delivering hybrid and/or virtual events including coordination of remote attendee experiences.

  • Proficiency with design and layout tools(e.g. Canva Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator) to produce event signage digital assets and marketing collateral.
