• Estimated hourly base pay:$18.27 (minimum) - $24.04 (midpoint) - $29.33 (maximum). Plus overtime.

If youre an Associate Machinist we have an exciting opportunity for you!

** This is a 1st shift position Monday to Thursday (10 hours shift) starting at 5am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operates CNC or Manual machining equipment and performs supporting operations (ex. manual material removal sub-assembly etc.) while following established procedures.
• Process Adherence: Follows detailed work instructions to maintain production efficiency and accuracy.
• Quality Control: Uses various gages to inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Records and maintains data per operating standards (SOP).
• Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean organized and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools materials and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols procedures and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

• Technical Operation: Proficient in operating machine equipment and handling tools safely and effectively.
• Critical Thinking: Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them by standard processes/procedures.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrates solid understanding of mechanical systems and components. Ability to use inspection gaging and hand/power tools.
• Team Communication: Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues. Adherence to Woodwards Core Values.

Additional Requirements:

Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type. Ability to stand for entire shift. Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
