Role Overview:
Ankuras Construction Disputes & Advisory PLDC practice is seeking an Associate to support our primary testifying experts on high-profile construction disputes claims and litigation matters focusing on design and construction defect analysis and Standard of Care forArchitects EngineersGeneralContractorsand other parties.

This positioncan belocatednear an Ankura office anywhere in the U.S. with a strong preference for candidateswho would be willing to be presentin the Philadelphia Office.
Responsibilities:
Participate indata-gatheringactivities including document review andpreparingtechnical workproduct.
Assistwithdetailed after-the-fact evaluations of Design and Construction Deficiencies and Defects Water Infiltration/Intrusion and Standard of Care for general contractors and design professionals.
Support the Testifying Expert intheir preparation fordepositions mediations and trial presenting complex technical and causation findings in a clear concise and objective manner.
Supportforensic analysis of pertinent design and construction documentation todeterminecontractual liability and cause-and-effect relationships between project events and alleged defects.
Support engagement work planning proposals budgeting and client communications for senior-level review.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related field from an accredited institution
Some experience in constructionengineeringor architecture with an interest in consulting.
Candidate working towardsprofessional certifications (PE RA CCM or equivalent) isa plus.
