Salary:

$30.06 - 39.83 Hourly

Performs professional work coordinating and managing the daily operations of all Orlando After-School All-Stars (Orlando ASAS) comprehensive before-school after-school and summer programs to ensure that the educational social and financial objectives of the organization and the needs of the staff youth families and public are met. An employee assigned to this classification performs administrative and supervisory work planning developing organizing promoting of and ensuring the safety of all Orlando ASAS programs and facilities. Work is performed under the direction of the Orlando ASAS Executive Director and performance is reviewed for results obtained through reports observation performance evaluations and conferences. The incumbent is required to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Recreation Education or related field to include Liberal Arts and Sciences and two (2) years of experience coordinating and managing youth programs required preferably in an after-school or educational setting including one (1) year of experience which must have been in a progressively responsible supervisory role; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Valid Florida Drivers License is required. Must pass a Level 2 background check. Experience administering a budget is preferred.

This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

  • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
  • Six (6) years of direct experience for a masters degree; or
  • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
