Construction Contract Manager

We are currently seeking aContract Managerfor our Data Center Division in Chicago IL. This role will require some travel to the job site in Mount Pleasant WI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with underwriting risk with respect to projects we are pursuing providing risk management solutions and drafting and negotiating various contracts including partnership agreements design agreements and owner construction contracts.
• Prepares contracts from prequalification and bidding through procurement; maintains contracts.
• Ensures that contractual requirements are met including diversity outreach and procurement goals. Manages outreach database.
• Prepares prequalification documents.
• Resource for contractual review/negotiation articulation of contractual provisions relevant legal research Sub/Supplier agreements for project teams or other matters as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree required; Juris Doctor Degree is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Ability to negotiate legal and commercial issues arising from contracts
• Transactional experience or construction/surety law experience is preferred but not necessary
• Problem solving skills together with the confidence to take the initiative on projects
• Strong communication skills and attention-to-detail are essential
• Position is based in Chicago IL however assignment may require some travel to jobsites in Mt Pleasant WI
• Salary: $91000 - $138000/Yr.
