The school is looking to appoint a polished friendly and highly organised Receptionist to manage the schools front-of-house operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors parents and external agencies
Managing the schools main switchboard and directing calls appropriately
Greeting all guests warmly and ensuring safeguarding procedures (ID checks signing-in)
Managing visitor passes deliveries room bookings and reception logs
Providing administrative support including emails letters copying and record-keeping
Maintaining the reception area to a professional standard at all times
Supporting events such as open days parent evenings and school tours
Liaising with teaching pastoral and support staff to relay accurate messages
Handling confidential queries with professionalism and discretion
Updating internal systems and supporting whole-school communication
This is a high-profile role requiring exceptional professionalism and communication skills.
Previous experience in a school reception customer service or administrative role
Excellent communication and front-of-house presentation
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office school MIS desirable)
Ability to multitask in a busy fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism punctuality and discretion
Warm welcoming manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
