Core Duties
Prepare practical resources across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Assemble test and dismantle laboratory apparatus
Prepare solutions and experimental materials
Maintain organised and fully stocked prep rooms
Monitor chemical inventory and update records
Ensure COSHH compliance and safe chemical storage
Conduct regular laboratory safety checks
Support teachers in delivering practical lessons
Assist with practical assessments and examination setups
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation
Liaise with suppliers and manage departmental orders

Practical and hands-on in approach
Strong organisational and administrative skills
