Job Summary
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Telford is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Music Teacher to join its growing Performing Arts department. This is a full-time position available for an immediate start and offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers to flourish within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
Deliver lessons covering performance composition and music theory
Prepare students for GCSE assessments
Lead or support extracurricular clubs such as choir band or ensemble
Contribute to concerts productions and community events
You will be passionate about fostering creativity and confidence in young people using a range of teaching strategies to ensure all students can access and enjoy the curriculum.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical Music
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Enthusiasm for contributing to wider school life
