The school is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee the collection processing analysis and reporting of school-wide data.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and developing the schools Management Information System (SIMS/Arbor/ISAMS)
Producing regular data reports for senior leadership heads of department and governors
Managing assessment cycles data drops progress tracking and academic monitoring
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and secure handling of sensitive student data
Supporting teachers with the use of data tools and reports
Overseeing census returns and statutory data submissions
Creating dashboards analytics and performance visualisations
Ensuring accuracy of student timetable and attendance records
Troubleshooting MIS issues and liaising with external technical support
Training staff in MIS usage and data entry standards
This role requires a proactive mindset technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Prior experience in a data management role (ideally education sector)
Advanced skills in MIS systems such as SIMS Arbor Bromcom or ISAMS
Strong analytical and Excel/data visualisation skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
Accuracy integrity and a meticulous approach to data
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
