About the Role

The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in providing strategic and operational financial support across designated business units. Acting as a trusted advisor this role works closely with senior leaders to drive informed decisionmaking enhance financial performance and strengthen organisational sustainability.

You will bridge finance and operations by translating complex financial information into clear actionable insights while ensuring strong financial governance and oversight.

This role provides financial leadership for assigned portfolios by managing budgeting and forecasting delivering accurate reporting and analysis supporting cost control and governance contributing to strategic initiatives and driving organisationwide financial process improvements.

Additionally you will:

• Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L commentary supported by clear insights tailored for nonfinance stakeholders
• Analyse financial performance identify trends risks and opportunities and provide recommendations
• Support grant and contract financial management including cost allocation and performance tracking
• Partner closely with Finance Operations Payroll and People & Culture to ensure data integrity and alignment
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes reporting and systems
• Champion continuous improvement across finance and operational teams
  
  

About You

You are an influential and solutionsfocused finance professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to drive outcomes. You bring strong analytical skills sound judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions diplomatically.
You thrive in an environment where collaboration accountability and continuous improvement are valued. With the ability to distil complex financial information into meaningful insights you help others make informed decisions that support organisational goals.

Additionally you have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting Finance or related discipline with CPA or CA (or working towards).
• Proven experience in finance business partnering budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to nonfinance stakeholders.
• Effective stakeholder management relationshipbuilding and influencing capability.
• Strong problemsolving skills commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.
