Job Summary

Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Office in Nashville TN. This role is critical to the financial operations of the organization and involves a strong background in property and lease management and full-cycle accounting.

As a Senior Accountant you will work closely with executive leadership to ensure accuracy compliance and provide strategic financial insights. This onsite position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment allowing for meaningful collaboration with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Accounting
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle including journal entries general ledger and financial reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation & Analysis
- Perform detailed reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across all accounts.
Expense Management
- Monitor and analyze operating expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support budget adherence.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP internal policies and external regulations.
- Support audit processes and implement internal controls.
Excel Mastery
- Build and maintain complex financial models and reports.
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g. Power Query PivotTables VBA) to streamline processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and lease accounting standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
