*This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (Diamond Infra) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1 2027. At that time the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.*

About You and this Role

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an opportunity for an

Emergency Services Operator(EMT/Firefighter) in Texas Operations A&B Sites at the Freeport site. The Freeport site has over 3000 employees and is a 24 hour / 7-day operation including Infrastructure Solutions is looking for technically capable Emergency Services Technicians who embrace change adapt quickly make decisions rapidly possess self-confidence and leadership skills and enjoy being lifelong learners. Responsibilities

• Perform all work activities in a safe team environment and follow operating discipline procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation of assigned duties related to the function.
• Physical ability to lift hoses climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs bolt flanges operate valves fire pumps and other emergency equipment and vehicles as part of the job.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve deviations and problems and accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve all process issues.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or National Registry EMT/Basic certification.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift overtime holidays and weekends.
• Must have a current valid US drivers license.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or National Registry Paramedic certification.
• Firefighter 1 certification.
• Industrial firefighting experience or process operator experience.
• Certification in confined space / high angle rescue.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to do the following with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to work in such environments wearing safety equipment such as earplugs goggles respirators and steel-toed shoes.
• Must be willing and able to work in such environments with frequent standing walking bending reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds wearing full firefighting ppe or equivalent.
• Must be willing and able to work in such environments with tight or closed-in spaces.
• Must be willing and able to climb stairs/ladders and working high off the ground.

• Microsoft Applications - Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel and can learn new systems quickly.
• Leadership - inspire others and lead them through influence.
