Framlingham Collegeis seeking a Transport Manager to oversee the Transport function and take responsibility for planning managing and coordinating passenger transport operations ensuring the safe and timely travel of pupils and pupil groups.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• ensuring the College Transport Fleet is always operational and be the first point of contact for all transport service enquiries from parents
• keeping up to date on relevant changes in standards and legislation
• liaising with the minibus drivers coach operators and parents to maintain optimum capacity levels planning routes and stops dealing parental feedback or complaints and making sure the schools transport service is safe secure and cost-effective
• promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom the transport department is responsible and with whom transport staff come into contact being the first point of contact for all school transport service enquiries from parents and staff
• dealing with parental feedback and complaints and making sure the schools transport service is safe secure and cost-effective
• planning and implementing complex logistic requirements sometimes at very short notice or under pressure Impeccable customer service skills Project planning management and cost control skills
• dealing with customer services and complaint management communicating with people at all levels in a courteous and professional manner
• analysing data to determine recommendations for change and improvement
• good working knowledge of MS Office and particularly Excel
• analysing data to aid improvements.

This is not an exhaustive list and you will be expected to show flexibility and assist with other tasks of a similar nature and will be expected to work at Framlingham Prep as well as Framlingham College as necessary.

You will:

• be educated to A Level or equivalent
• have a Full Driving Licence
• have qualifications relevant to the role.
