Job Summary

We help people with disability become more independent in their own homes and the community.

  • Active support: develop personal interests provide personal care transportation and coach independent living skills
  • Health support:administer and document medication and follow health support plans
  • Positive behaviour support:managebehaviour triggers and escalation
  • Safeguarding:ensure safety of you and the participant documentation and reports

About you

  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
  • Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of behaviour support plans
  • Manage and escalate challenging behaviours
  • Flexible with sleepover shifts
  • C3 in Disability Individual Support or equivalent is preferred
  • Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • National Police Check
  • Full unrestricted Victorian Drivers license
  • First aid and CPR certificate
