What Youll Do
As a Trailer Technician youll:Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on trailer refrigeration units
Diagnose and fix issues on 2019-2024 Carrier and 2024 ThermoKing units
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Repair or replace compressors evaporators condensers fans hoses belts and electronic controls
Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specs and company standards
Complete accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Manage parts and supply inventory for the shop
And take on other duties as assigned
Day-to-day work that keeps you challenged and engaged.
What Were Looking For
Youll excel here if you bring:Required
- 1-2 years experiencein fleet maintenance or recent tech school graduate
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Strongly Preferred
- Certifications (608 certification)
- ThermoKing and/or Carrier factory certifications are a big plus
- Solid understanding of refrigeration operation and microprocessor control systems
- Strong English communication skills (speaking reading writing) for effective daily teamwork.
Nice to Have
- CDL A or B
Skills and certifications help - but a strong work ethic attention to detail and willingness to learn go a long way with us.
