Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and Ofsted-registered Responsible Individual (RI) to provide strong governance and compliance oversight to a 3-bed Ofsted-registered EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) Childrens Home based in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-driven RI with a proven history of GOOD or OUTSTANDING outcomes who is looking to join a developing service with strong growth potential.

Tasks

As Responsible Individual you will:

Provide strategic leadership and regulatory oversight
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes Standards
Support and quality assure the Registered Manager
Lead on safeguarding audits and continuous improvement
Maintain inspection readiness at all times
Drive high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people

Requirements

Essential Requirements

Currently registered (or previously registered) with Ofsted as a Responsible Individual
Proven track record of achieving GOOD or OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings
Strong knowledge of childrens residential legislation and safeguarding frameworks
Significant leadership and governance experience within childrens homes
Ability to evidence quality assurance and compliance management

Compliance Requirements

All applicants must provide:

Valid passport copy
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Right to work documentation
Share code (if not a British passport holder)

No sponsorship available. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
